12 Days Of Christmas

14 Dec

My Mom does this really cute gift for her coworkers every Holiday season. 12 days of Christmas with her own little spin on it. She plans out small, budget friendly gifts to give for the 12 days leading up to their Christmas break. She is so clever with her little sayings that she comes up with for each item. Just presh.

When she shared with me what she was going to be doing this year I said, “Ok you have to give me your ideas so I can put them on the blog!!”  I then promptly received 12 picture messages from her of each object. She and my aunt get together the Saturday before and assemble everything that way it is ready to go for the next 12 days.

I love the 12 days idea and how thoughtful it is. I think it would be so fun to be on the receiving side of this gift! You could also take a few of these ideas and tuck them into a basket for your neighbor or mailman. Or if you were wanting to expand a little why not take some of these and come up with a few of your own for a super fun advent calendar?

Without further ado here are Mona’s 12 Days Of Christmas:

1. Life Savers – You’ve been a life saver! Have a great Christmas!

2. Hershey’s Chocolate Bells – With each chime of this festive bell, may a Christmas wish come true. And bring you peace and happiness to last the whole year through! Merry Christmas!

3. Mints- Friends like you are worth a mint! Happy Holidays!

4. Candy Cane – Raise a little “ cane” this holiday season!

5. Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and spoon dipped in chocolate – Wishing you a warm winter, Dear! Please enjoy this delicious cup of holiday cheer!

6. Saltine Toffee – Wishing you a season filled with sweetness!

7. Spice Doughnuts – Sugar and spice makes everything nice!

8.  Kettle corn drizzled with chocolate – Poppin by with a holiday Hi!

9. Chocolate covered pretzels – Sprinkle in some cheer this season!

10. Chocolate covered Oreos – Christmas cookies and happy hearts. This is how the holiday starts!

11. Candle – May your days be happy, your heart be light, your Christmas merry and new year bright!
